Hello World! Hello Friends!

We are Kim (in blue) and Kat (in red) and we are SO EXCITED to welcome you to our new blog, Hello Kim and Kat!!! We met this year and bonded over being women in tech with fashion blogs (Kim's and Kat's). We started out by meeting up for the occasional outfit photo swap (fellow bloggers, you know what's up!) Over the last few months our friendship has blossomed into weekly bubble tea booty calls, heart to hearts, public displays of shenanigans at local-area Targets and gushing over the new must-haves of the season. Whenever we're together, it's like one insane mind meld of creativity! We've started this blog to document all of our projects and fun times together. You can really just consider this a diary between best friends. Except anyone can read it :)

We'll share more about ourselves in the next couple of posts, but by way of introduction, here are a few of the things we look forward to sharing with you on this blog:

Style, Fashion, Trends, etc.
We each have VERY different styles. Kat is all about beautiful basics put together with an edge. Her outfits are typically accentuated with a cool piece of jewelry or glorious shoes that can be considered must-have staples in anyone's closet. Kim is an adventurous dresser and you'll usually see her prancing around in heels, a dress and a lot of color. She loves anything that makes her feel feminine and fierce. As you'll see, we're on opposite ends of the style spectrum, but more often than not we are attracted to similar pieces when we're out shopping together. With our outfit posts, you'll get double the inspiration when we show off multiple ways to style a piece.

A guide to Seattle and beyond!
We love living in the PNW and discovering and rediscovering wonderful places to eat, hang out, have fun and explore. We're always planning our next adventure and we hope you're able to discover new places along with us!
